USCIS announces temporary suspension of premium processing for all I-129 and I-140 petitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic

The USCIS announced today that they are temporarily suspending premium processing for both Forms I-129 and I-140 petitions due to the COVID-19 pandemic, effective today. The USCIS will NOT accept new requests for premium processing, starting today.

For cases which have already been accepted for premium processing, the USCIS will either approve the petition, issue an RFE, or deny the petition within 15 calendar days OR they will refund the premium processing filing fee. USCIS previously announced the suspension of premium processing for FY2021 H-1B cap petitions.
