The Department of State announced today that they will resume processing of visas, but cautioned that it would be done on a “post-by-post” basis. See the following link for the DOS news release and FAQ:
The resumption of visa processing does not negate any of the existing travel bans set forth by the administration, including the proclamations banning admission of certain visa classifications. Please refer to the prior notices and the Covid-19 immigration impacts page on our website.
In general, we continue to advise clients to not plan any international travel given the current environment and the likelihood of additional restrictions being added with little or no notice.
