Effective July 2004, the U.S. Department of State stopped accepting applications for visa revalidation. Although applications submitted prior to the July 2004 cut-off are still being processed, no new revalidation applications will be accepted. Any person applying for a visa must submit an application to an American Embassy/Consulate outside the United States.
