The "N" Visa

The N nonimmigrant category is reserved for a parent or "child" (i.e., unmarried and under age 21) of a special immigrant of an officer or employee, or a former officer or employee, of a foreign government recognized de jure by the U.S. and which government is a member of an international organization under the International Organizations & Immunities Act. NATO members are covered.

An N nonimmigrant may be admitted for up to 3 years with extensions in increments not to exceed 3 years, provided the person remains a "child." Employment is authorized without restriction as to type or location of employment, provided the person obtains an Employment Authorization Document (EAD from USCIS.
