Jackson & Hertogs is a
fast-paced business immigration law firm specializing in the
high tech industry. We have an opening for a Paralegal!
Proficiency working with immigration case management database
software is preferred, with experience in LawLogix.
In this position, you will write specialized support letters and
prepare immigration documents for submission to the USCIS. Other
duties include correspondence/email and telephone interface with
clients and corporate personnel, learning specialized software
applications and processing procedures for employment-based
immigration petitions as well as coordinating and monitoring the
status of cases. You will work on a wide variety of cases and
processes alongside our attorneys.
Requirements include a Bachelors degree, general office skills
and the ability to learn specialized software applications.
Exceptional writing, proofreading and word-processing skills
(65/+ WPM) are required, as well as excellent organizational,
interpersonal and communication skills. Must have a detailed
approach to handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines
with minimal supervision. Two years business immigration
experience preferred.
